“Birla Samrat Chetak Cement” participates in “Singhast Kumbh-ujjain” under CSR initiative

Indore, May, 2016: India’s leading Cement brand “Birla Samrat Chetak Cement”  participated at ongoing “Singhast Maha Kumbh Mela” in the holy Mahakal city- Ujjain” under it’s CSR Initiatives.
Safe drinking water has been provided to pilgrims through water huts placed at mela premises. With temperatures soaring high in this peek summer month during the Singhast Maha Kumbh , Birla Samrat Chetak Cement placed big umbrellas on banks of holy river “Shipra” to provide shades and shelter to the pilgrims. Caps were also distributed among the pilgrims for protection from direct sunlight and heat

Although small but such measures gave the pilgrims some respite from the heat.

The activities during Singhast Maha Kumbh aimed at providing pilgrims some respite from heat and we managed to drive these activities successfully under our CSR initiative.
