Mahindra First Choice Services, established in 2008, pioneered the concept of multi-brand car service workshops in India and has since serviced over 7, 60,000 cars. The company is expanding rapidly and has appointed over 200franchisee partners in the northern region, with more than 64 in UP alone. The company will add another 100 workshops to its network in the State.

“Our business model for franchisees has received a strong response in the UP region and this is what has prompted us to expand our presence further. The Lucknow market, with a car parc of over 3lakhs, is under served and customers have limited options to meet their car maintenance requirements. We bring Technology as a key differentiator, where all our 300 workshops are connected by ERP system and 40,000 Job cards are opened in SAP every month, With our skilled technicians, genuine spare parts, state-of-the-art equipment and robust processes, we work with our franchisees to provide a great customer experience”, saidAlok Kapoor, Head- Marketing and Franchise Development, Mahindra First Choice Services.

The company aims to have 1200workshopsacross the country and is investing more than INR 250 crore over five years to create the infrastructure and expand its network to achieve this goal.

At MFCS, customers can save between 10 to 20 percent on car servicing costs as compared to authorized service centers of several car brands. Each MFCS workshop uses quality spares procured at competitive rates and follows stringent quality measures, including a mandatory 60 point “First Choice First Check” on every car. The company is able to provide car service facilities at competitive rates as it sources the parts in bulk from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

For a car service provider, a strong spares supply chain and technical training are the two most essential elements. With 300 existing workshops and over 7,60,000 cars serviced, MFCS has a very strong proposition for the franchisee. The company offers a simplified business model in multi-brand car servicing with a robust supply chain for spare parts through its cluster warehousenetwork. Each cluster warehouse supplies parts as per the daily requirements of the Franchisee owned Franchisee Operated workshops, thus reducing the need to maintain huge inventories at the workshop. The company has 35 warehouses across India.

MFCS also provides hassle-free cashless insurance facility with leading insurance companies and a convenient free booking service for customers. Car owners can book a service either by calling the workshop or the toll free number 1800-22-4008 or through the MFCS website, The company has a strong digital presence through its website and offers various innovative features like the recently launched, first-of-its-kind online car dent estimator tool.
