‘DANCING DIVA 2014’ Audition received tremendous response in Indore

 

Winner of “Dancing Diva 2014” will be awarded worth Rs.6 lac 1st runner up 3 lac & 2nd runner up 2 lac.

 

Indore: 25th February 2014: Dance is an art and culture. It is a way to express our feelings, emotions & love. Dance is an exercise also which keeps us healthy after viewing the multiple values of dance. Riddhi Welfare a welfare society has come forward to organize a unique contest, titled “Dancing Diva 2014” aiming to identify best dancer of Madhya Pradesh.  

 

Indore is such a city of Madhya Pradesh, the cultural capital of India which gave many artistes to the country. To keep the spirit 23 talented girls from the city participated in the audition today out of which 12 girls will enter onward rounds.

 

The contest is mainly dedicated to underprivileged girls of the society who rarely get opportunities to showcase their talents before mass. The welfare society through the initiative also highlights the phrase “Beti Hai To Kal Hai”. It is well known fact that girls in the society are underestimated particularly the underprivileged girls, but people do not know that god poured talents in all equally and everyone has right to exhibit the same at proper time.     

 

The competition is divided in four parts- Audition, semifinal, Final & Grand Finale. Attractive prizes are offered to all three city finalists and all three finalists of grand finale. All the contestants and sponsors will get great exposure and publicity through this competition. The Celebrities & choreographer from Bollywood will judge all contestants & the participants will get chance to take effective tips from them, who will also help them to make their career in dancing field. Expected Judges are Shaimak Davar, Marzi Pestonji and Caudia Ciesla.

 

Aditya Sharma, event director from Riddhi Welfare says ‘We have always been in search of opportunities to encourage young talents of society and this time we have decided to encourage underprivileged girls of the society who despite having talents of varied nature, do not get right platform to exhibit their abilities. We are sure Dancing Diva 2014 will be proved an ideal platform to showcase their dancing talent and also a gate for their future career’.

 

Adding more, Aashish Saxena (President) from Riddhi Welfare said ‘We with our principle message “Beti hai to kal hai” are trying to prove that daughters are not liabilities of individuals and society, but true assets. I am happy to see the talented dancing girls of Indore city in the audition held today.’

 

To encourage all three city finalist the welfare society will provide prizes to each winner. City winner will be awarded worth Rs.51000/- , First runner-up will get Rs.31000/- and Second runner-up will get Rs.21000/-. Winner of grand finale will be awarded worth Rs.6 lac, First & Second runner-up will get Rs.3 lac & Rs. 2lac respectively.

Singer-turned-actor Meiyang Chang on Yeh Hai Aashiqui

~ The renowned celebrity will be seen as a boy from Sikkim who falls in love with a Punjabi girl in the upcoming episode ~

 

This week, Yeh Hai Aashiqui narrates a love story which emerged victorious against all odds and taught a lesson that love sees no cultural diversity; it is beyond the barriers of caste. The multi-talented, Chang will be seen as Jigme Lepcha, the lead vocalist in a band who falls in love with Santosh, a Punjabi girl. While he and his band are there to perform for Santosh’s wedding, the two fall for each other in the most difficult circumstances.

 

Talking about Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Meiyang said, “It was a good experience shooting for Yeh Hai Aashiqui and the show’s concept is really great, unlike the typical love stories. It talks about a lot of prejudices, the emotions we might have and why people oppose a certain match, which is beyond the base love stories. Each episode in Yeh Hai Aashiqui gives out a lesson, that, love triumphs over everything. The episode I am doing is about a lot of undercurrent of a racial prejudice and it’s great that this issue has been addressed. I hope we manage to change some minds with this story, apart from driving home the fact that love wins in the end.”

 

Along with Meiyang Chang, Chak De India fame Tanya Abrol will be seen as Santosh playing the female protagonist. Popular television actor, Rithvik Dhanjani will host the show who will take the viewers through the entire story.

Keeping in mind the auspiciousness of the festival, Mahi and the Mehta family will be seen observing nirjal uppas. As the traditional desi bahu, Mahi will encourage the entire family to keep all of the festival’s traditions: from walking barefoot to the temple for Darshan to maintaining a strict fast. Additionally she will ask the family to wait to break their fast until their have received blessings from the ardhnarishwer.   

 

Hailing from the hinterlands of Gujarat, Mahisagar revolves around the life of Mahi, a sweet, carefree small-town girl who is pitted against her politically distinguished mother-in-law, Ansuya Mehta, when she falls for Ansuya’s son Sagar. What follows is an entertaining and light hearted drama of the heart v/s the brain. Mahi’s ‘dil se’ take on life often turns Ansuya’s prim and proper world upside down.
