SAB TV launches ‘TU MERE AGAL BAGAL HAI’
A unique multi-level fictionalcomedy

Mumbai, June, 2014: SAB TV, one of India’s most loved family channel is all set to launch a multi-level fictional comedy show aptly named ‘Tu Mere AgalBagal Hai’with veteran actors from the television industry. The showis a wholesome humorous family entertainer andwill hit the small screen on 7^th July at 10:30pm.

The show directed by RajanWaghdhare, is an innovative family comedyshow which shallrevolve around the lives of the owners and the tenants living under the same roof of Bungalow No. 5. Mumbai, SAB TV, India’s most-loved comedy channel will telecastthe country’s first ever alien comedy TV series – BadiDooooor Se AayeHai. Starting 9^th June, audiences will get to watch this brand new comedy featuring some well-known actors like SumeetRaghavan, Tanaaz and Bakhtiyar Irani amongst others.

‘BadiDooooor Se AayeHai’ is an innovative alien comedy TV serieswith a plotthat revolves around an alien family coming to earth in search of their lost son. Equipped with superpowers they assume human form to blend in with thecivilization. Pritam played by SiddharthSagaris the tech savvy partner in a pair of ghost hunters in this new TV series. Pyaare played by Prasad Barveis the gullible brother who listens to everything that Pritam says. In a recent track, Siddharth and Prasad had to disguise themselves on the set as a woman and an old man. The track also involves school children who are fans of Pritam and Pyaarebut could not identify their favourite comic actors because of their new look.

 

 

PrasadBarve said, “Siddharth and I were in a totally different look due to the characters that we were playing in the track. The make-up artist had cleverly disguised me as an old man which made it difficult for people to identify me. Lots of children were present on the set and were hunting for Siddharth and me for our autographs. Initially we did not let them know about our real identity. Eventually we revealed our true selves and clicked photos with our fans.”

 

 

SiddharthSagar said, “I am playing the character of a woman in the current track and almost everyone on the sets was fooled. A spot boy failed to recognize me which amused me a lot. I was impressed with the skill of our make-up artists who do such a fabulous job of changing our look completely.”

GOPI’STRYST WITH SNIFFER DOGS

Chandramukhi Chautala is an adept police officer fighting crime and solving cases with her unique team in the fun-filled crime fighting series FIR on SAB TV.

GopiBhalla plays the role of Constable Gopinath on the show and adds a dash of humor with his funny mannerisms of speaking English. In the ongoing track of the show, sniffer dogs were called in for a specific sequence. Kavita Kaushik aka Chandramukhi Chautala loves pets especially dogs but she also knew about Gopi’s phobia of dogs and devised a prank with the dog-trainer to scare Gopi.

Kavita Kaushik said, “Gopi loves to play pranks on all of us on the sets. I knew about his fear of dogs and devised a plan to scare Gopi. I told the dog-trainer to let one of the dogs off the leash and to instruct the canine to go towards Gopi. The dog followed his trainer’s orders and sniffed around Gopi which scared him a lot. We all had a good laugh at the entire incident.”

GopiBhalla said, “Usually I am the trickster on the sets. But, this time Kavita got the better of me. I am afraid of dogs and was scared stiff when the dog started sniffing around me. I could not run away as I knew the dog would chase me. I avoided going anywhere near the dog till the entire shoot sequence involving the dogs was completed.”

Jeannie & Juju is a romantic comedy which shows Vicky and his genie, Jeanniein a relationship and their tryst with life.

In the ongoing track, Vicky played by Ali is accidentally affected by a magic spell which changes his appearance from normal to different shades of red, blue, green etc. Ironically, the change in colour also affects Vicky’s mood patterns which change in sync with the colours viz. red makes him angry and blue makes him calm while green makes him an envious person. Jeannie played by Rubina Dilaik was impressed with Ali’s acting skills during this particular track.

Rubina said,“Ali is a fabulous actor and he capably pulls off different types of acts in our show. The ongoing track consists of both physical and mental challenges as Ali’slook will change drastically and his mood swings will be affected in Vicky’s role. Ali impressed everyone on the sets with his acting prowess. He even joked about the act by saying that he got to play Holi once again.”

Shilpasaid,”I am a complete movie buff and have grown up watching Hindi movies all the time. I love romantic comedies and action thrillers and have always seen climaxes which have concluded in the hero saving the heroine all the time. In the recent track of Lapataganj, I will be rescuing Vinit from a fire which makes me the saviour.”

Vinit Raina said, “Lakhanis a typical desi hero character in this series and is a real ‘knight in shining armour’ kind of a personality portrayal. When I was told about the twist in the plot it surprised me a bit. It took both, Shilpa and me some time to get the act right as the roles were reversed for both of us. It was both a challenging and amusing sequence that was enjoyed by us.”

PYAARE GETS THE SCARE OF HIS LIFE

 

‘PritamPyaareAurWoh’ is a popular horror-comedy show on SAB TVwhich revolves around the antics of 2 brothers and their ghost adventures.

 

Pyaare played by Prasad Barveis the gullible brother of the Pritam-Pyaare Jodi and is easily scared of ghosts and spirits. As per the recent shooting track, the ghost-hunting duo is pitched to battle against a werewolf.

 

On the sets, Prasad got the scare of his life while he was waiting in the green room. Prasad said, “I was sitting in the green room and talking to a friend over the phone. Suddenly, a ghastly and fur-covered character entered and sat down on the sofa. I was scared to death! The creature looked very spooky. I ran out of the green room screaming like a kid and did not stop till I reached the outer boundaries of the set. Few minutes later Siddhartha came to me and informed that the creature was an actor in the costume of a werewolf. I was truly frightened and even avoided interacting with the fake werewolf for the entire duration of the shoot.”

Jackky Bhagnani & Neha Sharma recently visited the sets of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashmah’ to promote their upcoming movie – “Youngistaan”. Initially Jackky was supposed to be interviewed by Popatlal but due to some mix up, AatmaramBhide, secretary of Gokuldham society had to pose as Popatlal and interview Jackky which turned into a comedy of errors. Everyone on the sets had fun while shooting with Jackky & Neha.

 

Jackky Bhagnani said, “Both, Neha & me were excited to visit Gokuldham society where in many of Youngistaan manifesto points are collectively implemented. Gokuldham society is perfect role model for many of us. It was fun interacting with all the actors & I hope to visit Gokuldham again soon.”
